Who Is Fun Bucket Bhargav? TikToker Accused Of Raping A Minor Girl

Who Is Fun Bucket Bhargav: TikTok Star and video creator Chippada Bhargav aka Fun Bucket Bhargav got arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in Vishakhapatnam.

He has been charged under the sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) and section 376 (sexual assault) and 354 (assault or criminal force to woman) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Bhargav was arrested on April 21 in Hyderabad and his case was later transferred to Disha Police in Vishakhapatnam, a specialised police station for dealing with crimes against women and children. According to the police, the survivor is also pregnant.

Here's what we know of Fun Bucket Bhargav:

• Born in 1995, Bhargav is a 25-year-old content creator who rose to fame after started making lip-sync videos on TikTok. This was before Indian banned the application in India.
• One of his videos with the "oh my god, oh my god" plug got wider attention and was also used by food delivery services such as Swiggy for marketing purposes.
• He enjoys followership of more than three lakh people on Instagram and according to reports, he had an even bigger number of followers on TikTok. His popularity in Telangana and Hyderabad also had him visit television shows as a guest.
• Disha Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Prem Kajal said that Bhargav promised the survivor many offers if she watched his videos. He had also proposed to the girl and when she rejected, Bhargav allegedly started to blackmail saying that he had her personal videos, the police said.
• They also said that the survivor's family got to know about the alleged crime when they found out that the minor girl was four months pregnant. It is when they decided to lodge a complaint in Hyderabad police station.
• Bhargav was presented in front of the Judicial Magistrate and has been sent on judicial remand till May 3.
