Why Women's Issues Are Not Women's Issues Alone

The State of World Population Report 2000 underscored the disparity, emphasising that "gender issues" go beyond the realm of mere women's issues. However, in 2024 the ominous truth lingers – at the current pace, does full parity remain a distant dream? It becomes evident that women's issues are not confined to the realms of gender; they are universal issues that demand attention and action from everyone. This is why it becomes necessary that policymakers prioritise change when it comes to including women in decision-making, keeping in mind global statistics and the broader context of gender equality.
