A woman in the United States send her spouse to run some errands and purchase groceries from a store near their home but the man, Joseph Bednarek, became the king of impulse decisions the moment she decided to buy a lottery ticket. Reportedly, he just had a 10-dollar bill at the time and, of course, he used that to take the lottery ticket after he came across a sign. The decision was one of the bets he made in his life because it won him 107,000 dollars. Bednarek doesn’t know why he did it but is glad he returned home with enough money to buy groceries for some good amount of time ahead.
When ‘Canadian Groom’ became a beauty contest prize in Punjab
I wasn’t really aware of the charm the words ‘NRI Groom’ carries. But a beauty pageant organisers in Bhatinda were. In a contest that was to take place at a local hotel in Punjab’s Bhatinda, the winner was slated to win a prize in the form of an NRI Groom. Reportedly, the promotional poster for the contest stated that the winner would get to marry a man set in Canada. But who? Before we could find out which man was ready to be the ultimate prize, the police were informed and they discarded the entire competition.
When a German woman shut her roommate’s ventilator because its noise irritated her
If an incident can be termed unnatural and insensitive, a woman in Germany plugged off the ventilator of her fellow patient/roommate because the machine’s noise annoyed her. The 72-year-old woman was placed at a hospital in Mannheim. The police arrested her after she was accused of attempted manslaughter. She turned off the ventilator not once but twice despite having been told how important the ventilator was to the patient. Her roommate, 79, luckily survived after a few hours of struggle with breathing.
When a couple abandoned their pet dog at the shelter for being ‘gay’
Human beings have a way of topping their behaviour, especially when it comes to actions that have no logic. A couple in North Carolina, United States abandoned their male dog because he was found humping another male dog and, in their words, they “did not want a ‘gay’ dog. ” The pooch was sent to an animal shelter after his owners could not take it that their dog was with another dog of the same gender. I feel bizarre writing this, imagine what must their dog and the people at the shelter be thinking, not highly of the owners at least. The couple that peaked at being homophobic surely didn’t deserve the loving pet. However, a news agency reported that the pooch’s story did have a happy ending as he was adopted by a same-sex couple who named him Oscar.

We usually think we can purchase things at Walmart but a woman went beyond materialistic stuff, she decided on taking a baby back home. In the self-checkout lane at the Walmart store in Crockett, Texas, a 49-year-old woman tried purchasing a baby from a shopper near her by offering 500,00 dollars. According to a report, she not just offered money but also harassed the baby’s mother up to her car before she was reported and the police came to intervene.
