It has been 12 days since the farmers took to the streets to protest against the controversial agricultural bill. According to them and many experts, the bill can destroy the agricultural fabric of India as it is more in support of the market giants and not the farmers. In a viral tweet destroying Kangana Ranaut for her offensive remarks on farmers, Diljit Dosanjh showed how much he is for the farmers. In his series of tweets, he talked about how farmers are godly creatures who provide us with food. When the national media and public figures started calling the farmers terrorists, he tweeted," We are farmers, not terrorists #farmersprotest #standwithfarmerschallenge"

This time, she broke the pattern by retweeting one of Diljit Dosanjh's tweets and she said," Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. Comedian and youtube of Indian origin, Lily Singh came in solidarity for farmers with her tweet. She wrote, "The right to peacefully protest and speak up and not be met with violence is fundamental.
