Television Actors COVID-19: The COVID-19 infections are once again surging in Maharashtra. Many television stars have tested positive for COVID-19 and Nikki Tamboli is the latest addition to this list. This has delayed the shooting of some leading television shows and brought a lot of things to a standstill.
Television Actors COVID-19: Here are 7 television stars who tested positive for COVID-19 recently:
Nikki Tamboli
The Bigg Boss 14 finalist Nikki Tamboli recently tested positive for COVID-19. She took to Instagram to update her fans about the same. "I have been tested Covid positive early this morning. I am self quarantined, and taking all precautionary measures and medications on my doctor's advice," she wrote. She also urged all those people she came in contact with to get themselves tested for COVID-19. Her fellow companions Abhinav Shukla wished her a speedy recovery.
Aishwarya Sharma
Actor Aishwarya Sharma from the TV show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin had tested positive for COVID-19 along with her co-star and fiance Neil Bhatt and a crew member. Although they didn't have any serious symptoms, they sought medical help and quarantined themselves. Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar, the producers of Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment gave a statement saying that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been informed about this and that the sets of the TV show have been fumigated and sterilised. "We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to," they said.
Ariah Agarwal
Ariah Agarwal from the television drama Prem Bandhan tested positive for novel coronavirus. About two days ago, she said that she had been feeling weak, and had lost her sense of smell. She also revealed that she is getting enough rest, meditating and consuming vitamin C and zinc tablets.
Chhavi Pandey
Another Prem Bandhan actor named Chhavi Pandey has contracted the coronavirus after her co-stars Manit Jaura and Ariah Agarwal tested positive. She released a statement about her condition by saying that she had a slight cough and fever. "The entire unit went through a COVID test and my tests came positive. I have home quarantined myself. Since the cases are rising, this was expected. We were taking all precautions but sometimes you can't help it. I am feeling very weak and get fever too. I have isolated myself in my bedroom," she said. She also said that she is following all the instructions given by her doctor.
Tannaz Irani
In December last year, Tannaz Irani tested positive for COVID-19. She took to Instagram to share a few photos of herself to reveal the news. “Positive me Tested Corona Positive today. I’m praying that I hope I don’t infect anyone," she wrote. She also opened about what was her road to recovery like. However, she did admit that the first few days after contracting the virus were really bad. "I would often lose focus on things, but I continued to have 'haldi doodh' and 'kadha' along with my Vitamin C supplements regularly. That really helped me," she said," she said. She is currently a part of the TV show Apna Time Bhi Aayega.
Disha Parmar
The Pyaar Ka Dard Hai actor who set the dance floor on fire at a recent wedding had tested positive for COVID-19 in late September last year. Disha Parmar broke the news on her Instagram story, and wrote, "As they say.. There is no right timing for bad time.. Being positive never was so awful!"
Sara Khan
Sara Khan, the actor from Santoshi Maa – Sunayein Vrat Kathayein had contracted the coronavirus in September last year. She also revealed the news on her Instagram handle. Many fellow TV stars such as Ankita Lokhande, Jay Bhanushali, and Sayantani Ghosh wished her luck. Sara eventually recovered from COVID-19, and returned for shooting in early October.
