Globally, fusion cuisine has been increasing in popularity. The majority of people are testing out the new trend heavily, which calls for combining several cuisines. Many restaurants have been successful in creating distinctive fusion cuisine. People have made weird modifications to the traditional recipes for everything from Mango Maggi to Cramosa.
The art of fusion cuisine is nothing new, whether it involves giving a classic meal a fresh spin or fusing the flavours of several different cuisines to create a brand-new dish. But many of these improvements can turn foodies away, if not polarise them. A Butter Chicken Mac n' Cheese version is the most recent dish to get widespread attention online. The creamy Butter Chicken is perhaps one of the most well-known Indian meals outside of India, while Mac n' Cheese is also quite well-liked. It serves as comfort food for many. An American chef then combined the two and chose to add desi tadka to the cheesy treat.

The chef has posted images of a big bowl of macaroni that resembles a desi tandoori meal on his Twitter and Instagram pages. The top of dish is topped with charred raclette and dhaniya or chopped coriander. “Indian comfort food meets American comfort food. Butter Chicken Mac and Cheese,” introducing his east-meets-west dish, chef Hamzah S from Dallas, Texas wrote.
He explained how he came to the "delectable" result, but he did not disclose the recipe. “Started off with your typical butter chicken base, then added 3 cheeses and my favourite noodles. Topped it with some cilantro and torched raclette to make sure it was extra cheesy,” On Instagram, he gave an explanation. He also excited his followers by saying “might be taking orders for this one soon”.
While many Indians disapproved of the chef's experiment and urged people to "leave desi food alone," others were curious to try it despite their doubts. Many individuals who left comments on his page questioned him about whether there will be vegetarian or vegan options even though they were vegetarians since they thought it looked tempting to try.
