Who Is Zeenat Hussain? Aamir Khan's Mother Hospitalised After Suffering Heart Attack

Actor Aamir Khan’s mother, Zeenat Hussain, reportedly suffered a heart attack. As per reports, she was taken to Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai.

Reports said that Zeenat was with the Laal Singh Chaddha actor at their Panchgani house to celebrate the occasion of Diwali. It’s believed that she suffered a heart attack there after which she was taken to Mumbai.

Who Is Zeenat Hussain?

Aamir Khan is the son of the late filmmaker Tahir Hussain and Zeenat. He also has a brother Faisal Khan.

A source close to the actor confirmed to The Indian Express, “She suffered a heart attack and is currently admitted in Breach Candy hospital."

Earlier reports said that she was with Khan at their Panchgani residence to celebrate Diwali when she suffered a massive heart attack. The family immediately rushed her to the Mumbai hospital and has been with her since then along with other family members.

It should be noted that the actor or his family is yet to make a public statement about her health or provide any confirmation.

A source also informed ETimes that Aamir's mother is now recuperating, and her vitals are stable.

Khan once shared that his mother has been a big influence on him during his growing up days. Talking about his mother on the occasion of Mother's Day, Aamir once revealed to the Hindustan Times in 2014, “My mother has been very important in my life, and not just on one particular day. She has been the biggest influence on me when I was growing up. She is extremely dear to me, irrespective of which ‘day’ it is.”

Earlier this year in June. the actor celebrated his mother’s birthday and was joined by his ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son, Azad Rao Khan. In a video clip from the birthday celebration, Zeenat was spotted sitting on a chair surrounded by her family members.
