Yami Gautam Admits To Feeling Lost After The Success Of Her Debut Film

 Yami Gautam appeared in two films this year-  the first was A Thursday, in which she starred with Neha Dhupia and Atul Kulkarni, and the second was Dasvi, a social comedy directed by Tushar Jalota and starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur.

The last ten years of Bollywood star Yami Gautam's acting career can be summed up by the phrase "life is neither a bed of flowers, nor is it full of thorns." In the daily soap Chand Ke Paar Chalo, Gautam made her acting debut as the lead. She later appeared in more shows like Raajkumar Aaryyan and Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam. With the successful movie Vicky Donor, which also served as Ayushmann Khurrana's debut, she actually began her Bollywood career in 2012, and ever since then, she has been putting her best foot forward.
She has appeared in films like Total Siyaapa, Sanam Re, Jooniyat, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Ginny Weds Sunny, Badlapur, Kaabil, Uri: The Surgical Strike, and A Thursday.

Looking back on her experience thus far, Gautam remarked, "My journey is still on... "I have experienced many ups and downs, but they have all been worthwhile." She also recalled the moment following the success of her first film when she felt lost.

Gautam revealed that after the success of her first film she felt lost, she did not know which way to take, she felt lost. She said, "I was not able to connect to the opportunities I was receiving at that time".
Gautam was conflicted about whether she should remain unemployed or try the new opportunities.
It took the actor a while to understand her "own self" and learn how to "channelise" her voice.

She continued, "I had to relearn who I am in order to understand why I came all the way here and left my hometown." The actor will be featured in the thriller Lost, which was shown at the 53rd International Film Festival of India. She will also appear in OMG 2 – Oh My God!
