Actor Yami Gautam will be starring as Naina Jaiswal in the upcoming thriller film A Thursday.
The upcoming thriller film will revolve around Gautam’s character Naina Jaiswal, a playschool teacher who takes 16 children as hostages. A Thursday is written and directed by Behzad Khambata and produced by RSVP Movies and Blue Monkey Films. The film will star Gautam along with Neha Dhupia, Dimple Kapadia, Atul Kulkarni, and Maya Sarao.
Actor Yami Gautam had made her Hindi film debut in 2012 in the film Vicky Donor where she played a leading role. Since then she has also starred in movies such as Badlapur, Kaabil, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Bala, and Ginny Weds Sunny. Gautam made her television debut in 2008 in the series Chand Ke Paar Chalo and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. For her debut performance in a Hindi film, she received a nomination for Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Gautam’s role in the satire film Bala as a TikTok star led to critical acclaim for the actor.
