Back in 2019, actor Evelyn Sharma shared that she plans to get married in a big Indian-style wedding. The actor has always been open about her relationship with now husband Tushaan Bhindi. In an interview with Bombay Times, she revealed that she was excited to get married to her “best friend”.
Even though Sharma wanted her big Indian wedding, the pandemic has made that impossible. As a result, the couple had to get married in Australia. On June 7, Sharma shared pictures from her lowkey wedding that took place on May 15. “Big big thank you to everyone who made this small wedding the very best day of our lives!” she wrote in the caption.
Tushaan Bhindi said that their close friends and family members were unable to attend their wedding because of the pandemic. Even Sharma’s mom could not attend the wedding. Who is Tushaan Bhindi?
- Tushaan Bhindi is an Australia-based dental surgeon and entrepreneur. He studied at the University of Sydney, Australia, and has a degree in Dental Surgery (BDS).
- Bhindi and Evelyn Sharma got engaged in October 2019. Bhindi proposed to Sharma at the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia.
- The duo met through a blind date set up by their mutual friend back in 2018. The couple reportedly hit it off instantly and became close since then.
- Sharma has mentioned that Bhindi is a romantic person. “Tushaan is a romantic guy and he’s even more filmy than I am,” she said in an interview with Bombay Times.
- Bhindi and Sharma tied the knot on May 15 in a private ceremony. The wedding took place in Brisbane, Australia.
