Nope, That's Not Kiara Advani: Meet Director Rajkumar Santoshi's Daughter Tanisha

 Who is Tanisha Santoshi: Tanisha Santoshi, daughter of filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi has stunned social media due to her uncanny resemblance to Shershaah actor, Kiara Advani. Santoshi, who is soon expected to make her Bollywood debut, recently made her profile public on Instagram

On January 13, Tanisha Santoshi had posted a black and white photo of hers, dressed in salwar kameez and her hair tied in a braid, along with a bindi adorning her forehead.

"Let's meet again, for the first time," she wrote in the caption of her post, hinting at her upcoming Bollywood debut.

Actor Janhvi Kapoor, who is Tanisha's close friend, share her post in her Instagram stories, writing,  “My best friend, my favorite person, and the funniest girl I know is now on Instagram, starting a very new and special journey. Please give her lots of love and virtual hugs and good wishes. Lots of exciting things coming up.”

While Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor's sister commented "OMG" on Santoshi's post. Other celebrities such as Aaliyah Kashyap and Jibraan Khan also congratulated Tanisha for her upcoming debut. “Can’t wait to see you shine,” wrote Shanaya Kapoor, daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor.

“Can’t wait for the debut, looking forward" wrote filmmaker Sharan Sharma confirming Tanisha Santoshi's Bollywood debut and congratulating her.

"Tanisha, I recently viewed a few scenes of your debut film, courtesy of your dad, and I must say, you’re a natural - so good! I know you’re going to shine. Cheering for you.” wrote actor Vardhan Puri.

However, many of her followers couldn't stop pointing out how she resembled Kiara Advani's Dimple Cheema from the film Shershaah. "u r looking same as Kiara ...may be #humshukal," wrote one user, while another commented, "Kiara Advani from Shershaah vibes."

Tanisha Santoshi is said to be part of her father's movie Gandhi vs Godse, a period drama based on writer Asghar Wajahat's play by the same name.

It is said that newcomer Anuj Saini would be cast opposite Tanisha Santoshi. Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi’s last directorial venture was the Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz-starrer Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. He is known for directing comedies like Andaz Apna Apna, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and critically acclaimed movies such as Damini, The Legend Of Bhagat Singh, Ghatak and Ghayal.
