The couple have so far not made their relationship official and the actor has always preferred to keep her personal life under wraps. Earlier, there were reports that Mouni's mother and Suraj's parents have met.
The rumours that Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have been rife for some time but the actress never admitted to dating Nambiar who is based in Dubai. However, she did ring in 2021 with Suraj Nambiar and his family in Dubai. Now after her birthday on 28 Sept, she posted a story of Suraj that had a pup. She wrote, “Both mine. I love you.” This has given fresh impetus to the rumour mills and it is being said the two are set to tie the knot in January 2022 either in Dubai or Italy keeping it a close-knit affair.

Nambiar is a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from R. V College of Engineering
He studied investment science and International management at Stanford University.
Nambiar interned in Ashoka India before being posted to Invictus as a lead in Engineering and Business Development. Currently a member of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association, he is the Director head of the Capital Markets in UAE.

Reports suggest that the two grew closer after spending time together during the lockdown in 2020.
Mouni Roy was reportedly in a steady relationship with Uttaran actor Gaurav Chopra however that ended on a sad note. Later, the actress was also rumoured to dating her co-star from the show Mahadev, Mohit Raina. The two reportedly parted ways in the year 2018.
Many media reports have suggested that the actor will get married in Dubai or Italy next year. The ceremony is expected to be private. Another function will take place in Mouri Roy's hometown Cooch Behar, West Bengal for her family and friends. The rumoured have reportedly been dating since 2019 and came close during their stay in Dubai last year.
