The series opted for a worldwide reach, releasing in over 30 Indian and foreign languages, including French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Latin Spanish, Arabic, Turkish and Japanese.
Sriya Reddy who portrays the character of Inspector Regina in "Suzhal- The Vortex" has already gone on to become a fan favorite. "Suzhal-The Vortex" is the first Tamil long-form scripted original series. This crime series is helmed by Pushkar and Gayatri and directed by Bramma and Anucharan M. The series cast includes Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, Sriya Reddy, and Radhakrishnan Parthiban.
"Suzhal -The Vortex" is a crime thriller that is set in the backdrop of a small town, following a chaotic investigation of a missing girl. This is an 8-episode long crime drama. Sriya Reddy, who plays a cop named Regina took to Instagram to share a BTS from the series where she is seen working out, “This is what Regina does when she’s off duty #suzhalonprime #Suzhal”. She also shared a few pictures of fun off-screen time which also showcases her friendship with her co-star Kathir who portrays the role of Inspector Sakkarai.

Sriya Reddy is a well-known actor, who started off her career as an anchor and VJ. Born on November 28, 1983 to well-known Indian cricketer Bharath Reddy, she has worked in many films in the Tamil Telugu and Malayalam film industries. She did her debut in 2002 in the movie Samurai and is well known for her movies Black (2004), Thimiru (2006), and Kanchivaram (2008) Sriya Reddy is an actor and producer, co-producing films with her husband Vikram Krishna who is an actor producer himself. The couple has a daughter.
Sriya Reddy finished her schooling at the Good Shepherd School and received a degree from the Ethiraj College Chennai. Talking more about her new venture Sriya Reddy who plays Regina, an emotionally complex cop "Suzhal-The Vortex" said- "Content is key, you can't falter with that, and language of cinema is universal. If stories are brilliant, language doesn't matter anymore. And, for better clarity, films are being dubbed and there are subtitles too, like in the case of 'Suzhal - The Vortex', which is premiering in over 30 Indian and foreign languages."
Talking more about the attempt to reach a wider audience with releases in foreign languages she said- "The most rooted and local stories today are being watched and appreciated across the world. Indian cinema needs to come up on the world stage, it's already getting there, but we need to push it a little more, try a little harder."
