Finally, Ekta Kapoor has revealed the lead couple for her new romantic drama series Broken But Beautiful Season 3. In the lead role are Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee. Rathee will be portraying the character called Rumi. The show will mark her debut in the Hindi entertainment industry.

Rathee took to her Instagram to post the introduction video. Her caption read, "Every end leads to a new beginning and this one is close to all our (heart emoji)s. The journey begins today as we introduce to you, Rumi and Agastya, the broken hearts that will mend us all with their beautiful love story. #BrokenButBeautiful season 3 filming begins soon!"
The introduction video shows the mug shots of the two lead actors. The video is captioned,"It's more powerful to fall out of love than in love. Obsession never ends. It shifts!" At the end of the video, it read, "Filming begins soon."

Who is Sonia Rathee?
Twenty-five-year-old Rathee hails originally from Haryana. She is a production designer and actress. She is known for her role in Night Encounters, 100: The Tribute, and The Rat. The lead actor is also the sister of actor Ankur Rathee. He has starred in several web series like Four More Shots Please, Mission Over Mars, Hello Mini, and Made in Heaven.
About playing the part of Rumi she told Hindustan Times “I was drawn to Rumi’s character because of what she stands for and who she is. This season, she goes through a tornado of emotions where we get to see her transform from a girl to a woman, struggling to find her place in the world. Getting the opportunity to tell Rumi’s story is more than I can ask for seeing as how I’m going through a similar transition in my own life. To top it all off, I’m getting to work with such incredible people! To say I’m excited is an understatement.”

About Broken But Beautiful
Broken But Beautiful is a Hindi web-series. The director of the romantic web-series is Santosh Singh while it is created by Ekta Kapoor. Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi had played the lead pair in both the seasons. The previous two seasons aired on Zee5 and Alt Balaji exclusively.
