Who is Sana Sayyad: Divya Drishti actor Sana Sayyad's pre-wedding celebrations began on Monday, with a Haldi ceremony. Sayyad is marrying her college friend Imaad Shamsi, an entrepreneur, on June 25. Her co-stars from the show Divya Drishti joined the pre-wedding festivities for Sayyad and Shamsi on Monday evening. Like Haldi ceremony, the couple's Nikah is also going to be a close affair.
The couple always wanted an intimate wedding and chose to go ahead with the pre-wedding festivities with just close friends and family. Sayyad was also captured in a happy picture with Divya Drishti co-star Adhvik Mahajan. He and wife Neha Adhvik Mahajan also took to their Instagram account to share inside pictures from the ceremony.

While Sayyad wore a yellow Kurti and salwar with a floral dupatta for her Haldi ceremony, Shamsi was seen in a white kurta pyjama and red dupatta. "Finally the Moment all of us have been waiting for," Mahajan wrote on Instagram. Calling Sayyad his "bestie", he added that he can't express how elated he is to see her getting hitched to this "absolute gentleman" Shamsi. He wished both of them a lifetime of love and happiness.
Who is Sana Sayyad?
She became popular after portraying the role of Drishti Shergill in Divya Drishti. She also appeared in MTV India's Splitsvilla 8 in 2015 where she finished as a runner-up with Utkarsh Gupta. Sayyad took part in Boyz Will Be Boyz opposite Ashwini Koul and was last seen as Sonam Goel in Lockdown Ki Love Story opposite Mohit Malik.
Sayyad all set to tie the knot with Shamsi, who is an entrepreneur by profession. The two have known each other since their college days but got close during the lockdown last year. In February 2021, they made their relationship official.
Talking about knowing each other from college and now getting hitched, Sayyad told TOI, "Though we had known each other for almost eight years, I never thought about us in this light back then." She said that she had been single for a long time and was busy with work and that's one of the reasons she didn’t stress about getting married. "I always believed that whatever is right for me will happen at the right time. Imaad and I started meeting after my show, Lockdown Ki Love Story, ended. We developed a liking for each other and soon started dating. Things worked out well between us and our families," she revealed.
