Not too long ago, Riddhima, in an interview, had opened up about not following the footstep of her parents and sibling in the acting world. She revealed when she was studying in London, she got film offers but didn’t pursue them and got married soon after returning to India. "I don’t think I ever thought of it," she said, adding that she was only 16or 17 years old at the time and had not even considered discussing about it with her family.
She reflected her first career choice was to be a jewellery designer. Riddhima was also asked what her alternate career would be and she claimed she would either be a yoga teacher or a chef. She also said that she often makes different cuisines for her husband and daughter and had taken a cooking class in Mumbai before her marriage. Apart from her jewellery line, she also has a clothing line for kids called Sam and Friends, named after her daughter.
