Internet users are fawning over the Miss India winners crowned on July 03, 2022, at the final event of Miss India held in Mumbai. Sini Shetty won the title of Miss India while Rubal Shekhawat and Shinata Chauhan garnered the first and second runner-up positions.
The star-studded finale event of Femina Miss India 2022, also celebrated 20 years of Neha Dhupia's crowning as Miss India and was attended by celebs Neha Dhupia, Kriti Sanon, Maniesh Paul, Rajkummar Rao, Dino Morea, Mithali Raj, Malaika Arora, and Lauren Gottlieb.
Among the five finalists of the pageant were Shetty, Shekhawat, Chauhan, Pragnya Ayyagari and Gargee Nandy. The title winner Sini Shetty hails from Karnataka, while Rupal Shekhawat was Rajasthan represent, and Shinata from UttarPradesh.
The official account of Miss India took to its social media to announce the winners in a post captioned, "CONGRATULATIONS, Let's pop the champagne! These ladies have a powerful voice and we’re sure that they’re going to use this platform to further all the essential causes that they believe in. We’ve seen the passion with which they’ve worked for these titles and must say that they deserve every bit of this.

Who Is Rubal Shekhawat? First Runner Up Of The Femina Miss India 2022
Rubal Shekhawat was one of the finalists at the 2022 Femina Miss India. She emerged as the first runner-up and was crowned alongside title winner Sini Shetty and 2nd runner-up Shinata Chauhan. Rubal Shekhawat represented Rajasthan at the event.
Rubal hails from Jaipur and is currently based in Mumbai. Rubal did her schooling in Army Public school and attended college at the Kaneria College, Jaipur. She has served as an NCC cadet and is interested in Horse Riding, Yoga, and swimming.
A model actor and a digital creator by profession, Rubal has over 115K followers on Instagram. Rubal frequently features in ads and was recently featured in singer B-Praak's music video Ishq Nahi Karte alongside Emraan Hashmi and Sahher Bambba.
She also stated that her family has been immensely supportive of her modelling career and that she fell in love with this career when she was selected in the top 5 from Rajasthan for Miss Diva, back in 2015.
Talking about her vision and how she wants to use this win, Rubal has expressed her interest in bettering maternal and infant healthcare. She said, "Precious lives are lost due to lack of awareness and information, so my endeavour is to provide proper healthcare and nourishment to the mother and her unborn child. India can reach its maximum growth when the infant mortality rate is decreased, and women are not treated as baby-making machines."
She added, "In an individual capacity, perhaps my voice may not be heard, but the crown and responsibility bring the power to be a catalyst of change. My mission will reach a bigger audience aided by the support of the finest team in the world, my Miss India family. Serving the women of my motherland is something close to my heart. I want to be a Purposeful Queen as I believe we pass this way only once, and I want to make my life count."
