Who is RJ Malishka: She has enraged netizens for an interview she held with history-making javelin Olympian Neeraj Chopra. She took to Twitter to share snippets from the interview. In the visuals, she can be spotted dancing to a Bollywood number during her interaction with 23-year-old Chopra. He, on the other hand, was taken off-guard and seemed a bit uncomfortable with her antics. In another video she shared on social media, RJ Malishka is heard asking Chopra for a jadoo ki jhappi (a hug) through the screen. "Dur se namaste" was his reply to her.

The two videos didn't go down well with Twitterati who are slamming her for her unprofessionalism and objectifying the 23-year-old Olympian.
Here's what you need to know about RJ Malishka
- Malishka hosts Morning No 1 with Malishka on the Red FM 93.5 radio station.
- Born and bred in Mumbai, Malishka did her schooling from St. Charles High school. She pursued Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from St. Xavier College of University of Mumbai. After a break year, she pursued her Master of Arts in Mass Communication from Sophia College, University of Mumbai.
- She lost her father at a very young age. Her mother, Lily Mendonsa, raised her.
- Her career commenced as a radio jockey. Best Breakfest Programme and M Bole Toh are also the other shows she has done.
- She also got a chance to train Vidya Balan to play the role of an RJ in 2006 Bollywood film Lage Raho Munnabhai.
- She was also seen alongside ">Vidya Balan in Tumhari Sulu. She was playing the role of a radio jockey in the movie.
- She also hosted a TV show on Colors which was called Entertainment Ki Raat.
- In an interview with SheThePeople, she said that she feels Radio was born for her. "I always wanted to be an inspiration, but not be too sweet. I want to say mirchy things and still be loved by you,” she said adding that radio helped her become the person she is.
- In 2017, she recorded a song Mumbai Tula BMC Var Bharso Naye Ka means Mumbai Don’t You Have Faith in the BMC. It went viral on YouTube. It talked about the poor infrastructure that Mumbaikars have to deal with especially during monsoon when the city comes to a standstill. She was under fire as the song offended the Uddhav-Thackeray led Shiv Sena who had promised a trouble-free monsoon to Mumbaikars.
