The couple had been the subject of online speculation across social media platforms like Twitter and Reddit in recent days.

Ritu Rathee had earlier spoken out amidst rumours of their separation. In a  video titled "Divorce Reality Check," Ritu addressed the gossip circulating around her eight-year marriage. Taking a strong stand against the speculation, she criticised those making assumptions about her relationship.

Ritu explained that like any other couple, they had a disagreement, “A small thing happened between a husband and wife. He thought he was right; I thought I was right. He became stubborn, and so did I.” She firmly stated that outsiders do not understand their marriage and added, “I know that man inside out. I don’t need to hear from you whether he is genuine or loyal. I’ve seen him go through every situation.”

Ritu, who stepped away from social media a year ago, expressed frustration with the negative chatter, saying, “People who live in glass houses love to gossip about others.” She criticised society for quick judgement, remarking that in the past, women were blamed for marital issues, and now men bear the brunt of the blame.

Fans began speculating that all is not well between the couple after noticing Ritu’s absence from his recent vlogs and Instagram posts. Ritu was also seen at the Bhajan Marg of Premanand Maharaj, where she opened up about her concerns regarding infidelity and the custody of their children. In her video, she confirmed that it was her in the viral clips.

Flying Beast Responds to Rumours, Requests Privacy

Amid rumours of separation, Gaurav Taneja posted a statement on Instagram on September 29, addressing the ongoing speculation about his marriage. Taneja responded to the rumours in his post with the phrase, "Joi Joi pyaaro kare, soi mohe bhave,” which translates to, “Those who love me, I love in return.” He expressed his desire to stay silent for the sake of his children and the mother of his child, asking people not to make assumptions. “Men are made villains very fast,” he said, defending himself and highlighting that some men express their emotions less.

Gaurav emphasised that social media is not the place to discuss personal matters, writing, “I will remain quiet for my kids... please don’t expect any public explanation.” He also expressed hope that things between him and Ritu would be resolved soon, stating that he would continue fulfilling his work commitments despite the ongoing issues.

Who Is Ritu Rathee?

Ritu Rathee hails from Gurgaon, Haryana. She did her schooling in Blue Bells Model School in Gurgaon and has a BSc in Chemistry from St. Stephen's College Delhi. Rathee earlier said, "I was never a desk person, and was very good in Maths and Science. I never wanted to get into engineering, but a friend's suggestion to become a pilot got me thinking. It was not that I dreamt of becoming a pilot, but once I started flying, it turned into a passion." She did her pilot training in Arizona, US.

Ritu Rathee married a fellow pilot and YouTuber, Gaurav Taneja, on February 5, 2015, after dating for over a year. She has two kids Kairavi and Chaitravi. Gaurav Taneja runs three YouTube channels 'FitMuscle TV'(a fitness channel) Flying Beast (a daily vlog channel) and 'Rashbhari Ke Papa' and has 1.2 million subscribers.

Ritu is also a social media influencer with over 1.6 million followers and has appeared in a reality TV show with her husband Gaurav named 'Smart Jodi.'
