Who is Ranjan Raj: From being an IIT dropout to playing an aspirant in Kota Factory, Ranjan Raj brings a smile to the audiences face with his character's supportiveness and affable friendship. His empathy with the character makes him stand out.
In the teaser of the Kota Factory, featuring Balmukund Meena, he is shown as an anxious character getting introduced to the concept of self-satisfaction and sexual attraction. In the ending snippets of the minute-long teaser, Balmukund's friend asks him, "Meena...whom have you been spending time with?" and he replies, "Myself" is bound to bring a smile to one's face.
Two years ago, he got his big break with Kota Factory, which is a five-episode series created by The Viral Fever (TVF). In an interview with the Telegraph, Ranjan Raj remembers his favourite comment from Season 1, "Season 1 was one of the top shows on IMDb and I don’t think there can be a bigger compliment than that. For my character (Balmukund Meena) to hear things like tere jaisa dost hamesha sabko life mein miley... yeh sunn na hi ek bahut badi baat hain (Not everyone in life gets friends like you...to hear this was a big compliment for me)."
On Meena's friendship with Vaibhav, he told Tealfeed, he and Vaibhav have been friends for three years now and shared the same room while shooting the show.
