Who is Nehha Pendse? The famous sitcom Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain is all set to see a new face in the role of Anita bhabhi. The role was earlier donned by Saumya Tandon who left the show in August. The show will now see Nehha Pendse essaying the same role.

Nehha was last seen in the film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari.  Fans of the show are eager to see what Nehha Pendse brings into the role of Anita bhabhi.

1. Pendse kick-started her career as a child star in the film Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin in 1999.
2. She then went on to feature in several Hindi films such as Deewane, Devdas, and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji.
3. The actor commenced her television career in 1995, with a role in Captain House, a 1995 Ekta Kapoor show.
4. She then acted in various shows such as  Hasratein, Padosan, and Bhagyalakshmi.
5. Pendse also played the lead role in Excuse Me Madam.
6. She was last seen in the film Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee, Karishma Tanna, and Sana Sheikh.
7. Pendse was also a contestant on Bigg Boss 12. She was the first celebrity contestant to be evicted from the house. During her stint in the house she was very close to Dipika Kakar.
8. She married Shardul Singh Bayas on 5 January 2020.
9. This year on the eve of Valentine's day, Nehha went to Udaipur along with her husband to spend some quality time.
10. She has also starred in various Marathi films. Her film June-Healing is Beautiful will be releasing soon in the theatres. The film stars Nehha Pendse, Siddharth Menon, and Kiran Karmarkar.

Last year, Tandon cited monotony as the reason for leaving the show. In an exclusive interview with the Bombay Times she said, "Being employed and earning a regular income was not exciting enough anymore." She further added that she wants to work on projects where there is scope for growth as an artist.

Saumya who worked for around five years with the show was loved a lot for her role of Anita Bhabhi. Before Saumya, Shilpa Shinde who was famous for her role Angoori bhabhi left the show due to some tiff with the production team. In place of Shinde, the show saw Shubhangi Atre swiftly getting into the role of Angoori Bhabhi.
