Maren Eggert: German actor Maren Eggert is the first winner of best “non-gender” performance for her role as Alma in the romantic comedy film I'm Your Man.
The award for best "non-gender" interpretation is awarded to the best actor irrespective of gender. Eggert was awarded the prize on March 5, 2021, at the closing ceremony of the Berlin International Film Festival which was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The best “non-gender” performance was introduced this year and replaced the Silver Bears for Best Actor and Best Actress.
