Leah Cantillon was a Limerick TikTok star who died a tragic death on February 25, 2022. The influencer was paid tribute by numerous fans of hers on social media as they paid their condolences to her family and relatives.
Famous TikTok star and influencer Leah Cantillon from Abbey Vale, Corbally died on February 25 in a hospital where she was admitted after allegedly attempting suicide. The notice about her death was put up on RIP.ie that read, "Sadly missed by her loving grandparents Martin & Veronica Cantillon, mother Avril, brother Philip, sisters, aunt Nicole, uncle Ross, other relatives & many friends". Since the news of her death broke out, her fans have been paying their tributes and condolences to her family and friends who are grieving her loss.

Leah was a well-known Limerick influencer and TikTok star who had around 124,000 followers with 3.1 M likes on her videos. She was known to be a happy person who never involved herself in fights and even did some charity work. The influencer was known to be a fitness enthusiast and posted her lip-syncing and dance videos on TikTok frequently. She had a strained relationship in the past because of which she was character assassinated. The influencer was struggling with her mental health and it is possible that the online flak she received for her past relation might have a connection with her mental struggles and suicide.
After her death, she and her family has been receiving support from her fans.“I pray that the Lord will give you all the strength to get through the next few days. I pray that the Lord will heal your hearts over time.” wrote a fan. A Limerick fan also paid her condolences as she wrote, “Condolences to the family, what a beautiful girl, gone before her time, I hope she rests in peace,”
Leah allegedly attempted suicide after which she was immediately admitted to a hospital nearby. However, her injuries cannot be sustained and she died on February 25. The Requiem Mass for Leah will be held on March 4, 2022 at the St. Mary's Church at around 11 am after which she will be buried to rest in peace at the Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.
