The Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya recently asked actor Disha Parmar to marry him. In a new promo for the show, shared by Colors channel, Vaidya said, “Today is a very special day in my life. There is a girl in my life whose name is Disha Parmar. I have never been so nervous. I don’t know why I took so much time to say this but will you marry me?” Vaidya can also be seen sporting a t-shirt with “Marry Me?” printed on it.
Disha Parmar is an Indian television actor. She is popular for her lead role as Pankhuri in the show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara and as Jhanvi in the show Woh Apna Sa.
She was born on November 11, 1994, in Delhi, India. Parmar completed her primary education from Sadhu Vaswani International School for Girls in Delhi. She has also worked as a model. Parmar worked for a Delhi-based organisation ‘World-class Model Management India Pvt. Ltd’.
She, later on, starred opposite Nakuul Mehta in Pyaar Ka Dard hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. She was just 17 when she signed up for the show. The show aired from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, she won the Indian Telly Awards, Star Parivaar Awards, and Big Star Entertainment Awards for her role as Pankhuri in Pyaar Ka Dard hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara. She was also seen as a contestant in 'Box Cricket League’ season 1, a sports reality show. Parmar had also made an appearance in 'Bigg Boss 9' as a special guest.

Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya have worked together in a song Yaad Teri, released in 2019.
Before stepping into the Bigg Boss house, Vaidya said in an interview with The Indian Express that Disha Parmar is his best friend. The singer had even shared that he would be open to love if he finds a suitable person in the show (Bigg Boss 14).
According to Times of India Vaidya said, “I met Disha through common friends two years ago. We hit it off instantly, and often hang out together. It would be premature to say that we are in love, but yes, we are trying to get to know each other well.”
