Deepti Vempati was among the many bachelors featured on Netflix's dating reality show Love Is Blind's season 2. The Indian-American data scientist had a rough patch while dating on the show, falling for a person who didn't seem to care about her emotions.

Deepti Vempati had everyone's eyes stuck on her and Abhishek 'Shake' Chatterjee's relationship while on season 2 of the popular American dating show Love Is Blind that streamed from February 11 to 25, 2021 on Netflix. Her moments with Shake were full of red flags, as the viewers saw it, but the Vempati was unable to spot them looking for a silver lining. While many know about her dating life, evidently from the show itself, many things related to her are not very known to everyone.

Who Is Love Is Blind Season 2 Contestant Deepti Vempati?

Deepti is an Indian-American born in India who moved to Bloomington, Illinois when she was 8. Born on January 30, the 31 year old information data analyst was seen struggling to find love on the show despite of being quite popular and eventually choosing herself over love. Deepti's purpose of going to the dating reality show was to find a unique love story instead of settling for an arranged marriage, as she said. During the blind dating round on the reality show, Deepti was quite popular but she ended up falling for and accepting the proposal of Abhishek, another Indian-American vet on the show.

Abhishek turned out to be not so good. He did everything from fat-shaming, disrespecting her, not being supportive, insensitive, he even compared her to his aunt. Shake even told friends and family that he is not attracted to her that left Deepti with no choice but to choose herself and her dignity and leave him at the altar at the end. She came with hopes to the show and ended up ignoring the obvious red flags. However scripted reality shows are said to be, that Deepti Vempati's story went viral.

There have been recent rumours that Deepti is dating a fellow contestant from Love Is Blind, Kyle Abrams, a 29 year old Chicago glazier. The rumours sparked because of a cryptic TikTok video that Kyle posted with Deepti. The chemistry of Kyle and Deepti during the blind or 'pod' dating was evident to the fans and they got along well. However, Kyle did not propose to her about which he had shown his regret during previous interviews. It would be great to see what turns out of this relationship. As of now, the former contestants have said that they are figuring things out.
