Addite Shirwaikar Malik: Popular television actors Addite Shirwaikar and Mohit Malik recently posted the photos of the former's grand Godh Bharni or baby shower held in a traditional Marathi style. Consequently, the Internet can't stop awwing at the beautiful photos of the gorgeous parents-to-be couple.

The couple announced their pregnancy news in December last year. Addie has reportedly entered the seventh month of her pregnancy.

In a recent interview, Mohit revealed that when she told him about the pregnancy, he mistook her positive pregnancy test for the COVID-19 test and panicked for a moment.

"I was in the midst of a shoot when Addite called to give me the good news. It took two days for the news to sink in. I kept asking her to check again and again," he further added.

Addite is beyond excited to welcome her bundle of joy very soon. She has been extra-cautious throughout her pregnancy and shifted her work to home. "I have my restaurant business to take care of, but for the time being, all operations will be done from home."

"Both Mohit and I are taking extra precautions due to the pandemic and we maintain social distancing as much as possible. We avoid meeting friends, who have only recently started meeting each other," she added.

1. Addite Shirwaikar was born in a Maharashtrian family in Mumbai.
2. She started her acting career in the early 2000s by playing the role of Sonu in the popular Indian television serial Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. She is best known for her performance in the Indian fantasy sitcom Shararat, where she played the role of Meeta, the protagonist's best friend.
3. She has appeared in a number of commercials for popular brands like Pepsodent, Horlicks, Kisan, Amazon Alexa, Lizol and PCRA Save Fuel.
4. She was recently seen in the music video of Tahe Dil Se Shukriya by Mousiki Records alongside many television and Internet personalities, thanking the frontline health workers for their contribution amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
5. She has acted in a number of Indian serials such as  Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Saarthi, Hero - Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai, Dekho Magar Pyaar Se,  Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, Dharampatni and many more. She was last seen in Chabbis Barah, which went off air in 2013.
6. She hosted Star Vivaah, an Indian match-making reality show, along with Mohnish Bahl in 2009. In 2008, she also took part in the reality dance show Nach Baliye 4 with her husband Mohit Malik.
7. She is also an entrepreneur and owns three restaurants in Mumbai with her Shararat co-star Simple Kaul and another friend Vatsala Rajeev Raj.
8. Addite Shirwaikar is married to the popular television actor Mohit Malik. The couple met in the sets of Hare Kkaanch Ki Choodiyaan. Mohit proposed to her in 2006 and they got married on December 1, 2010.
