Actor Priyanka Chopra is high on success as she has made it to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) 2021 longlist in the Best Supporting Actress category. Now her film The White Tiger is ranking number one in 64 countries. The White Tiger viewership is projected to be 27 million households in just four weeks of its release.
Chopra took to Instagram to share a special poster and a note on the film's success.
Her latest film The White Tiger, directed by Ramin Bahrani, arrived on Netflix recently. She has featured on the BAFTA longlist in the company of stars such as Oscar-winner Olivia Colman and Oscar-nominated stars Glenn Close and Saoirse Ronan, among others.
The final list of six nominees awaits. Before this, her We Can Be Heroes film also ranked number one in kids programming section on Netflix

In the film, the Baywatch actor essays the role of Pinky Madam. Sharing the happy news, she wrote that she is "grateful" for the success of the film. "It’s so emotional for me to see the discovery and acceptance of this brilliant incredible story. The White Tiger being embraced by audiences all over the world is awe inspiring," she expressed and extended her thanks to the crew.
Last year, Chopra was named among the Top 50 Most Powerful Women. She managed to earn 37th rank in the 2020 list. She is also the founder of Purple Pebble Pictures, known to have backed National award-winning film Ventilator, and is also an investor in a woman-friendly dating app. Chopra has also invested in US-based Holberton School, “a project-based alternative to college for coders and software engineers”. In April last year, the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador launched an initiative to help students adapt to virtual classrooms in Los Angeles during the lockdown phase. “Education and empowering youth is so important to me,” Chopra had said in a video she shared on Instagram.
