Where to Watch Shantit Kranti: The comedy series is all set for release on August 13. The show stars Abhay Mahajan, Lalit Prabhakar and Alok Rajwade.

A Marathi original show, the series talks about friendship and self-discovery. A theme that has often been explored by mainstream Bollywood. Shantit Kranti  is a story of three friends - Shreyas, Prasanna and Dinar. It also has a road trip that the friends take to Goa in focus which also becomes a way to reflect on life's problems. The get away is life-changing and provides a chance to the boys to introspect and explore life. Shantit Kranti portrays friendship in a quirky yet meaningful way that instantly strikes a chord with young viewers. Abhay Mahajan was earlier seen in the series Pitchers. Lalit Prabhakar made a name for himself as Aditya Desai in the role of popular Marathi daily soap Julun Yeti Reshimgathi. Alok Rajwade is a Marathi and Hindi actor, director, singer and painter who has also done several experimental plays.

The trailer of Shantit Kranti begins with the three friends reaching Goa. However, instead of reaching a beach in Goa they end up at a retreat. Here they are expected to stay cut off from the outside world, and connect with their inner self.

The comedy series is directed by Sarang Sathaye and Paula McGlynn. The makers Sathaye and McGlynn said that the road trip and the stories brought back nostalgia, laughter, and lessons to live life. They believe the story will resonate with viewers.

Shantit Kranti marks the Marathi debut of Bollywood actor Shikha Talsania. She is popular for playing the role of Meera in the Bollywood film Veere Di Wedding. The show highlights issues like relationship insecurities, unfulfilled dreams and talks about uncertainties of life.
