Where To Watch Cheraathukal? After the success of anthologies like Ghost Stories, Pitta Kathalu, Ajeeb Daastaans, Aanum Pennum, and Lust Stories it seems like both the audience and the makers both are enjoying them alike. Releasing on June 17 Cheraathukal is a Malayalam anthology film that will have six different stories directed by six debutant filmmakers.

The six new directors involved in the making of the film include Sreejith Chandran, Jayesh Mohan, Anu Kurisinkal, Fawaz Muhamed, Sreejith Chandran, Shajan S Kallai, and Shanoob Karivath. The film which is said to portray six different emotions in the six stories is produced by Dr Mathew Mampra under the banner of the Mampra Foundation.

One of the stories in the film has been penned by the acclaimed writer in Malayalam Literature, CV Balakrishnan. Cheraathukal was shot entirely during the pandemic with the help of around 100 technicians.

The film has six music directors and Shefin Mayan as the music director, and Vidhu Prathap, Thaha Kolpad, Ishan Dev, and Nithya Mammen as the singers for the anthology. The cast of the film consists of Mareena Michael, Adil Ibrahim, Maala Parvathi, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Devaki Rajendran, and Parvathy Arun among others.

The team of Cheraathukal said that all the six stories will handle six emotions where Michael plays the role of a bold and bubbly home nurse with a modern outlook, Parvathi features as a strong-minded Christian nun, and Ibrahim can be seen in the role of an unemployed engineer who finds bliss through entrepreneurship.

Where To Watch Cheraathukal?

According to the trailer of the anthology that premiered on June 11, Cheraathukal is set to release on various OTT platforms including regional streaming platforms. The film will be setting a record to be the first Malayalam anthology film to release directly on an OTT platform in 2021.

The film will be available to stream on multiple streaming platforms including Saina Play, NEE STREAM, Zinea, Cave, FilMe, First Shows, Roots video, Koode, Limelight.
