Where To Watch Duranga ?

Duranga, which is an official Hindi translation of the 2020 South Korean romantic television series Flower of Evil, which starred Lee Joon-gi and Moon Chae-won in the key roles, is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan.

The popular television actor Drashti Dhami, known for her notable roles in shows like Geet- Hui Sabse Parayi, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, and many others, plays the female lead opposite the lead actor Gulshan Devaiah, known for his roles in Shaitan, Hate Story, and Hunterrr. The series is produced by Goldie Behl and Shradha Singh.

Along with the lead actors, the series also has major roles by Rajesh Khattar, Divya Sheth, Zakir Hussain, Barkha Bisht, Abhijit Khandkekar, and Hera Mishra.

The love story of Sammit and Ira, which develops in three separate timeframes, is explored in the plot of this romantic drama series-Duranga. Sammit keeps up the appearance of being the ideal husband to his detective wife Ira while concealing a dark history.

Ira discovers that her seemingly ideal husband could be keeping something from her when she and her coworkers begin looking into a string of mysterious killings.

As a die-hard fan of Korean dramas, Drashti Dhami was thrilled to be offered the first-ever Indian adaptation of a Korean series. “What attracted me to Duranga was its intriguing script which packs a punch with all the elements that make for a great story – from an unconventional love story and a seemingly perfect family to a hidden, twisted path and the unfolding of a series of crime, Duranga has it all. Also, this is my first time playing a police officer so it was a dream role with a dream cast and crew,” she said as per reports.

While talking about his character Sammit, Gulshan Devaiah said, “What meets the eye is not what it seems or is it? That’s Sammit in one sentence, but I guess humans are far more complex and grey than one sentence can explain, and Sammit is delightfully complex and all sorts of grey. He loves his family deeply but has a past, which, if revealed, may take them away from him and so he must do whatever it takes to keep his family together.”
