Netflix's upcoming series Vikings Valhalla release date is something you must put on your calendar as a reminder. The series will follow the adventures and stories of the legendary Vikings, the pirates, colonisers and traders that lived during the 9th to 11th century in Scandinavia.
There have been many shows and movies based on the adventures of the Vikings, traders and colonisers from Scandinavia that seized control of many areas in Europe and beyond during the 9th to 11th centuries. Another addition to the list is Netflix's upcoming show Vikings Valhalla created by Jeb Stuart that will soon be released on the OTT. The show will follow the chronicles of some famous and legendary Vikings or Norsemen in history.
When Is Vikings Valhalla Release Date?
Vikings Valhalla series will be sequel to the popular Canadian TV series Vikings created by Michael Hirst that had six seasons that streamed between 2013 to 2020. The show will be starring Bradley Freegard, Frida Gustavsson, Sam Corlett and Leo Suter in lead roles. The series will showcase the end of the Vikings era as conflicts between them and English royals rose leading to inner conflicts and battle for glory and survival.
The series will feature some of the greatest Vikings in history like Leif Erikson, Freydís Eiríksdóttir, Harald Hardrada and King Canute "the Great". The prequel of the upcoming series was streamed on History channel and followed the life history of one of best Norse leaders, Ragnar Lothbrok, and his journey from a farmer to a raider and s Scandinavian king. The show followed the rise of his and the glory of the Vikings and now the sequel will follow its end.
Vikings Valhalla will be releasing worldwide on Netflix on February 25, 2o22. The OTT platform usually releases its new shows and series around 3 a.m. Eastern time and hence, the show is expected to release then. However, nothing can be said until there is an official statement.
