When Is Killing Eve Season 4 Coming Out?

British Spy Thriller Killing Eve season 4 release date is anticipating fans very much as they can't wait to see the investigator-assassin duo back on screens. The female-led and female-written series' fourth season will be releasing soon in 2022.

Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer starrer Killing Eve was renewed for a fourth and final season whose release date was announced by the makers to be in February 2022. The award-winning 2018 drama is based on the life of an investigator who is hired to kill an assassin but when they meet each other, they get oddly attracted to each other, wanting to discover more about each other aside from the mission and also unravel some strange connections between their respective circles.

Killing Eve Season 4 Release Date

Killing Eve is based on Luke Jenning's novel named Villanelle and is the story about Eve, an investigator and Villanelle, a psychopathic assassin. Eve Polastri works with the British intelligence agencies but is very bored with her role there.

She is very much fascinated by the methodology and mindset of assassins and wants to learn more. When she is fired from MI5, she is recruited by a secret division within MI6 and is given the role of chasing the international assassin Villanelle. When the two of them meet, they connect and develop mutual attraction, dwelling deeper into each other's life and Eve sidetracks her original mission of killing her.

The interesting thing about Killing Eve is that it is not only led by great female leads like Sandra and Jodie but it is also backed with an inspiring team of females as each season is written by a different female head writer. The first was written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the second by Emerald Fennell, third by Suzanne Heathcote and the fourth and the last one is written by Laura Neal.

The series' season 4 will be releasing on February 27, 2022 and will air till April 17, 2022 on BBC. The series produced by Colin Wratten, Elinor Day and Sid Gentle Films will have its last season in 2022 and will take forward the journey of Eve and Villanelle.
