Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Release Date: Ginny and Georgia is a series revolving around a mother-daughter relationship. 15-year-old Ginny believes that she is much more mature than her 30-year-old dynamic mother as the two embark on a fresh start in the picturesque New England. The show is being renewed for Season 2. Ginny and Georgia's cast includes Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry in the lead roles.

Ginny and Georgia follows the story of Georgia Miller who decides to finally settle down after years of being on the run to provide a normal life to her family. Along with Brianna Howey and Antonia Gentry, the show also casts Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass and Scott Porter in prominent roles among others.

Despite the Taylor Swift controversy for which the show had been hugely criticised when it featured a sexist joke around the singer in its first season, it has managed to make place in the hearts of its audience, amassing a viewership of around 52 million in the first 28 days of its premiere on Netflix.

Ginny and Georgia had been renewed for a second season back in April 2021 as per reports.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 as a tribute to late crew member

Ahead of its second season, Ginny and Georgia actor Scott Porter announced that the upcoming season will be a tribute to a lost crew member Lohengrin Zapiain. “A month ago the #GinnyAndGeorgia crew heartbreakingly lost one of our own, an incredible man and camera operator, Lohengrin Zapiain. We have dedicated this season to him and are reminded of him each time we clap the sticks before a take. We were so incredibly fortunate to have worked with him and become his friend on this little show, "he wrote in his Instagram post.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 release date

While the show had been renewed in April 2021 for a second season, it began filming only in November 2021. As per reports, Ginny and Georgia Season 2 release date hasn’t been clarified yet but it is expected that the show will return around the second or third quarter of 2022.
