When Is Emily In Paris Returning With A New Season ?

Emily in Paris has been confirmed for renewal with Season 3 and 4 by the makers as well as its actors earlier in January. The show has amassed a large audience because of the beautiful locations of the city of love, over-the-top fashion as well as the impressive work of the actors. Emily in Paris stars actors including Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat and Lucien Laviscount among others.

Emily in Paris Season 2 was featured in the Global Netflix Top 10 across 94 countries and amassed a viewership of 107.6 million hours in the first four days from December 21 to December 26, 2022. The show follows the story of Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), a marketing executive, as she deals with her professional and personal life in the city of love. However, there are speculations that the upcoming seasons will feature her struggles in a new location in Berlin.

As seen in the last episode of season 2, Emily had to choose between her career and love life. She could stay in Paris to work at her former boss' new company or leave the city and not see her love interest involved with another woman. It is safe assume that the new season of the popular series will show Emily put herself first and not continue to sacrifice for her loved ones. Fans have been wondering about what will become of Emily and Gabriel but since the last two seasons have showed confusion and repeated failures at Emily's part, the new season is expected to give a solid win to its protagonist. That can either be in Paris or Berlin. Only the release of the new season will reveal the mystery.

The main cast of the show is most expectedly to return in Season 3 including actors Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, Gabriel as Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Camille Razat as Camille and Bruno Gouery as Luc along with Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie among others.

It is expected that Kate Walsh, who plays pregnant boss Madeleine on the show may not return for the new season unless she decides to stay in Paris. Alfie, played by Lucien Laviscount’s presence in the upcoming season also depends upon how his relationship with Emily develops.

Emily in Paris Season 3 release date

The makers and actors announced its renewal for new season earlier in January on their social media handles. “Say ‘bonjour’ to 3 & 4! 💋 EMILY IS OFFICIALLY RETURNING FOR TWO MORE SEASONS!” read the caption on the official Emily in Paris page on Instagram.

Emily in Paris Season 3 release date still remains unclear since the production is yet to start. According to Variety, the show is expected to be shot as Studios of Paris in Spring or Summer 2022 however, other locations such as London and Berlin are also being discussed for the shoot.

According to reports, writer Darren Star will begin writing for Season 3 soon.
