When Is Elite Season 6 Coming Out?

Elite season 6 release date is the most calculated thing these days as the fans couldn't get enough of the season 5 and are just eagerly waiting for the next one to answer their queries.

It has been just a week since Elite season 5 streamed on Netflix and the fans are already waiting for the sixth one. That's probably because the 5th season left us with some fatal cliffhangers. Season 5 began with the flashbacks of the New Year party and brings us to the present where Armando is dead. He is surely murdered but the question is who did that. The season explores the investigation and suspicions along with the relations and emotions of the pivotal characters going on as well. A lot of drama, suspence and complicated feelings that suspense will stir you up for sure. Now, then what does season 6 has on a plate?

Elite Season 6 Release Date?

Season 5 was all about investigation of Armando's death after his body is discovered floating in the lake by Omar and the prime suspect for the murder is Benjamin. No reason to deny it as Armando and Benjamin had beef between them as he raped one of her daughter and tried to kill the other one. Well, as the show moves on, we see that Armando and Benjamin's relation was more deeper than what it seemed as they were together trafficking data on Las Encinas' students. When this truth comes out, Samu, who has been having Benjamin's back till now, decides to go against him for what he did but he ends up getting in a fight with him and hits his head on concrete.

Now whether Samu is dead or he survived is still unclear and reportedly the story of season 6 will take off from there. We might see what happens to Benjamin after Samu gets hit. Another thing we can expect is what happens of Patrick and Ivan's relationship and if they will be able to resolve their issues.

As of the characters, it is possible that Caye, Samu (who is already injured or dead), Rebe and Omar leave the main scene and the story focuses on Mencia, Ivan, Ari, Phillipe, Isadora and Patrick. The season 6 will also be joined by new cast members namely actors Ana Bokesa, Carmen Arrufat Blasco, Alex Pastrana, Álvaro de Juana and Ander Puig that will bring new characters into the scene.

The filming for the sixth season, with all the new cast members and the old ones that will be coming back, began in February 2022. So it is unlikely for the show to release anytime soon in the coming two-three months. With the shooting and post production work left, we can expect the next season to come on Netflix by 2023 either in the beginning or in mid-year.
