Jhund
Hindi biographical-sports film Jhund is based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of an NGO Slum Soccer. The film cast include actors Amitabh Bachchan, Akash Thosar, Rinku Rajguru and Ankush Gedam in major roles. Bachchan plays the role of Vijay Borade, a sports teacher who creates a Football team out of children from the slums keeping them away from drugs and crime. The film had a theatrical release on March 4, 2022 and released on OTT on May 6, 2022.

Thar
Set in the 80s, Thar follows the story of Siddharth (Harshvardhan Kapoor) who sets out to seek a job in the city and avenge his past. The crime-action thriller stars Harshvardhan Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Fatima Sana Shaikh in main roles. Thar is directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary. It made a direct-OTT release on May 6, 2022.

Home Shanti
Home Shanti features Supriya Pathak Kapur, Manoj Pahwa, Chakori Dwivedi, Poojan Chhabra and Happy Ranajit as the main cast. The Hindi-language web series follows the story of the middle-class Joshi family based in Dehradun and dreams of owning a house soon. The series premiered on May 6, 2022.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
The American superhero film is based on Marvel comics character Doctor Strange and is the sequel to 2016 film Doctor Strange. The film follows the adventures of sorcerer supreme Dr Strange as he casts a forbidden spell and opens the gate to the multiverse. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness released on May 6, 2022. It include actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams among others.

Moon Knight
Based on American comic book series character by the same name, superhero web series Moon Knight concluded its first season on May 6, 2022. The six-part series follows the story of Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac) who suffers from dissociative identity disorder and discovers mysterious powers of the Egyptian gods. Actors Oscar Isaac, May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, F. Murray Abraham, Ethan Hawke, Ann Akinjirin and others are seen in Moon Knight.
