The much-awaited third film in the Welcome series has been named Welcome to the Jungle. Scheduled for a Christmas 2024 launch, the movie is poised to deliver a star-studded, delightful experience for the whole family.
The upcoming addition to the Welcome film series has been officially named Welcome to the Jungle, with producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala confirming a Christmas 2024 release date. The movie is geared to provide a family-friendly cinematic experience.

A star-studded ensemble graces the film, featuring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, and Suniel Shetty in significant roles. However, Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar, who portrayed the memorable characters Majnu and Uday in the previous two films, will not be reprising their roles for this third edition.
Regarding the movie's genre, an insider revealed that the plot centres on a comedic adventure set in a jungle. The intention is to create a distinct adventure comedy that surpasses the scale of its predecessors. Kumar is making a comedic comeback in the franchise after being absent in the second installment, titled Welcome Back, which was led by John Abraham.
Before the official announcement of the third film's title in the franchise, actor Arshad Warsi provided insights. He confirmed the much-anticipated sequel to Welcome and highlighted its grand cinematic scale.
The actor mentioned, "The scale of Welcome 3—the cost, the climax—is unreal. It is an insanely larger-than-life theatrical film, which I will be a part of."
As per Pinkvilla's report, the movie is prepared to commence filming. Shooting sites have been finalised, and efforts are underway to develop action sequences and character appearances. Reportedly, a dedicated photoshoot has been conducted for the official unveiling of the film, which is anticipated shortly.
Following this announcement, Akshay Kumar has now reserved key holiday slots for upcoming releases: Eid 2024 for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Diwali 2024 for Housefull 5, and Christmas 2024 for Welcome 3. In addition, Arshad Warsi is set to collaborate with Akshay Kumar once more for Jolly LLB 3.
