Milind Rau's psychological thriller has been creating a lot of buzz since its announcement. Ahead of the release of her latest film, the Bigil actor was seen bonding with her reel pet dog Scooby on the sets. The murder mystery has been released today.

Netrikann in Tamil means the third eye. The story of the film revolves around a visually impaired person who crosses paths with a serial killer after witnessing a murder case the police department is investigating. Ajmal Ameer plays the antagonist who is targeting young women in Chennai city. The edgy thriller has already intrigued fans.

Sharing a brand new poster on Thursday, the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar told fans to block their calendars for the lady Superstar Nayanthara's Netrikann. It was also announced that the film will be streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam at 12:15 PM.

About Netrikann

Netrikann is directed by Milind Rau of Aval fame and is reportedly based on the 2011-Korean film titled Blind. It also stars Ajmal Ameer, Manikandan Pattambi and Saran in crucial roles. The film was initially set to release in theatres but is now opting for a digital release due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus. Nayanthara's Netrikann marks Vignesh Shivan's debut as a producer who has also penned the lyrics for the title track of the film.
