Wondering Where To Watch Liger Online? Here's All You Need To Know

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday's sports action film Liger is all set to release soon.

Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda's movie is a sports action drama centered around an international ring boxer's journey to success going against the world that questions his skills and talents. The duo promoted the movie by appearing as a guest on Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan and has since been busy travelling to various locations to promote the film like Delhi, Patna and Mahipalpur.

The trailer of the movie was released about a month ago and gave a glimpse of the action packed sports drama. The story is about a boy born and brought up on the streets of Mumbai whose mother calls him a crossbreed of a tiger and lion. He undergoes harsh training and physical transformation to prepare himself to become an international kick boxer. The movie showcases his journey from fighting on the streets to competing in the rings around the world.

The movie is a Dharma Productions and Puri Connects film directed by Puri Jagannadh. The movie is also shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada or release. It will mark Vijay Deverakonda's debut in Hindi film industry and Ananya Panday's debut in Telugu cinema. The movie also stars American professional boxer Mike Tyson in a cameo role along with Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali and Makarand Deshpande.

The movie will be releasing in theatres on August 25. However, it also expected that the movie will be releasing on OTT as well very soon. The rights for the movie were reportedly sold to OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar back in February 2022 for a sum of Rs 65 crores. The movie is expected to release on Hotstar probably by September or October. However, the makers and Hotstar are yet to make an official statement.
