On July 4, Aamir Khan Productions, which produced the movie, shared the reunion video on their official social media handles. The caption read, "16 years and we are still singing this song for everyone we love (red heart emoji)." In this video, the primary cast members are seen singing the song. It appears that each actor recorded their part separately in different locations, and these clips were then edited together to form a coherent performance.

The video starts with Imran Khan, who played Jai, taking the lead. He is lying on a beach, dressed in a white t-shirt with a red-and-blue shirt over it. Next up is Genelia D'Souza, who portrayed Aditi. She is wearing an olive green jacket over a black top. Following her is Manjari Fadnis, who played Meghna, sitting in her room and wearing a yellow dress.

While these three actors have remained in the public eye since the film's release, the reappearance of the other three members of the gang is a delightful surprise. Nirav Mehta, who played Jiggy, shows up with a completely new look. He is seen in an olive green shirt, a white hat, and sporting long hair, with palm trees in the background. Alishka Varde, who played Bombs, also looks different, wearing a grey sleeveless top. The biggest surprise comes from Karan Makhija, who played Rotlu. He appears in a maroon T-shirt, now bald, adding a unique twist to his character's look. Sugandha Garg also makes an appearance, wearing a blue top.

After the gang finishes singing the song, the video ends with a special appearance by Murli Sharma, who played the CSF inspector in the film. He delivers his memorable dialogue from the film's climax, saying with a smile, "Agli baar ye gaana gaaya na toh goli maar doonga" (I'll shoot you the next time you sing this song). This line was originally directed at Imran Khan's character, Jai, when he sings the same song at the airport to propose to Genelia D'Souza's character, Aditi.

The reunion video has been met with a warm response from fans, who cherish the nostalgia and the trip down memory lane. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa remains a beloved film for many, thanks to its relatable characters, charming storyline, and memorable music. The film's portrayal of friendship, love, and the journey of growing up resonated deeply with audiences, making it a classic in Indian cinema.
