'100 % Abduction': WandaVision Star Kat Dennings Recalls The Secret Thor Auditions

WandaVision star Kat Dennings: Kat Dennings is set to make a comeback in the Marvel Universe by reprising her role in Thor for popular Marvel series WandaVision on Disney+. 

The actor played Jane Foster's (Natalie Portman) assistant Darcy Lewis in both installations of superhero movie Thor and Thor: The Dark World. The new trailer of WandaVision showed Dennings as part of the upcoming episode of the show.  

While speaking to Crooked's Keep It podcast, Kat recalled the incidents from her auditions for Thor and quipped at the secrecy maintained by the Marvel in terms of storyline and characters. She said that the process was kept so secret that Dennings had no idea what was she auditioning for. 

"I have no idea what's going on. I don't know what the movie is, all I know is that it's a superhero movie and I'm like 'Am I a superhero?' What do I wear, like, leggings? What do I do?" she said. 

"So, I was like, I'll toe the line. I'll try and look a little cute, but I don't know who I'm playing cause you get fake sides."

Dennings revealed that she was given a fake script of the movie along with a fake address for auditions to keep the project and its location under the wraps. When she reached the location to find nobody there, someone came on a golf cart to take Dennings to the real audition location.  

Dennings joked that the set up made her like she going was going to be kidnapped. 

"Right? Well, 100% like abduction, but it was like a different place entirely, it was so, so crazy," she added.

Kat Dennings is famously known for her role in 2 Broke Girls, a popular American sitcom. She essayed the role of Max Black along with Beth Behrs who played Caroline Channing. The series premiered in 2011 and ran for six seasons.
