Wait Is Over: Here Is Stranger Things New Season Release Date

Stranger Things new season release will mark the unraveling of new mysteries and new challenges for our favourite group of friends as they walk into high school and are apart from each other for the first time.

Stranger Things started streaming in July 2016 and the supernatural investigation drama garnered a huge public liking soon. It received nominations and wins for many awards including Primetime Emmy, Grammy, British Academy Television Awards and Directors Guild of America Award and People's Choice Awards. The popular series is returning in 2022 with a season 4 and is among the most anticipated releases of the year.

Stranger Things New Season Release Date

Stranger Things follows the life of a group of friends from Indiana that solve supernatural mysteries that affect their town. The film is set in 1983 era and features researchers who are secretly experimenting on paranormal and supernatural elements. They successfully created a portal that connects their world to "Upside Down", an alternate dimension. When one of their friends, Mike, goes missing and is suspected to be kidnapped by a creature from the alternate dimension, the group of friends decides to find their friend while fighting the supernatural with the help of a psychokinetic girl they befriended.

The subsequent season saw the kids facing hurdles and challenges from Upside Down and its creatures. The new season was announced by its creator, The Duffer Brothers, in 2020 with a teaser. They revealed a statement that said that in the new season, police chief Hopper, will be back but will be imprisoned in Russia while the friends are separated in America and enter the challenging high school life.

Stranger Things new season will be releasing on Netflix in two parts, first on May 27, 2022 and the next on July 1, 2022. The season consists of nine episodes in all and will bring back our favourite characters played by actors like Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp.
