Virgin River Season 4 Updates: Romantic-drama series Virgin River follows the story of a nurse practitioner as she moves to the secluded town of North California from Los Angeles in search of a new start. Romance-drama Netflix series Virgin River had been renewed for a fourth season back in 2021. Actor Alexandra Breckenridge, who plays the main lead Mel Monroe, revealed earlier that she wrapped up shooting her scene in December 2021.
The show is under post-production as of now. It is expected that Virgin River Season 4 will air on Netflix in the second or third quarter of 2022, however, exact dates haven't been revealed yet. Since the show is about to end with the making, the release dates seem just around the corner. Virgin River is based on Robyn Carr's debut novel by the same name.

- As per reports, Sue Tenney mentioned that Season 4 will include major character development of Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley) and it is expected that the character will finally go into labour.
- It is also expected that actor Annette O'Toole will be seen more in Season 4. She plays the role of Hope McCrea. O'Toole was not significantly seen in Season 3 due to COVID-19 complications, however, it is hoped that she will play more significant role in the fourth season.
- Sue Tenney revealed that the viewers will get to see development in the relationship of Muriel (Teryl Rothery) and Hope (Annette O'Toole). The two have been put in an antagonistic relationship by the makers. "

- According to reports, Alexandra Breckenridge also revealed in one of her Instagram Live sessions that the filming for Season 5 has been delayed. Earlier, Virgin River Season 5 was set to start production after Season 4 was wrapped up, however, the filming has been pushed further.
