Virgin River New Season Is Coming Soon?

Virgin River new season is making fans impatient as the filming for it has been done with. The big question is - when is Virgin River releasing its new episodes? The third season aired in July 2021 and the fans are awaiting their favourite couple Jack and Mel, and every new twist they will bring together in the plot.

Virgin River is one of the most popular drama series on Netflix based on the life of a bar owner, Jack (played by Martin Henderson) and nurse Mel (played by Alexandra Breckenridge). There have been much speculation and sneak peeks from the cast and crew of the show but there is still a lot not clear about the release dates of the next season. As things turn out there is already talk of the fifth season being filmed.

The ending of season 3 was a massive cliffhanger and a major turning point in the story which can change it completely. Mel was pregnant and it is not clear if the baby is Jack's.

Not all the buzz is disappointing. We have some evidence that the new season might be coming out soon.

Virgin River New Season

Virgin River is based on Robyn Carr's novel series by the same name where we see a nurse Mel shifting from city to a small town called Virgin River in hopes of a new job and a different life. However, she receives a cold and rude welcome after which she considers leaving the place but the incidents unfold in such a way that she not only stays back but also finds love during her stay there in Jack, the owner of the local bar.

Mel and Jack have come a long way, tackling all their hardships together and when we thought that things were all set, Mel declares she's pregnant and she doesn't know whether the father is Jack or her late husband Mark. That was the biggest cliffhanger of the season but not the only one as the other characters too had a lot going and they too didn't get their closure. Season 4 is expected to answer these questions but is also expected to create more of them as well.

Considering the fact that Netflix renewed the series for a fourth and a fifth season, we expect that it is planning to make it for long run as its novel series has a total of 25 books. As of now, we had updates from Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge that said the dubbing and post production for the season is apparently over by now. It is possible that the new season comes out in July 2022, exactly one year after the season 3 but we are still waiting for Netflix to make the announcement.
