We were on the edge of our seats for more than a year after the Virgin River season 3 finale. As many people may remember, there was a ton of drama with Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack (Martin Henderson), Wes (Steve Bacicominous )'s twin brother Vince, Hope's terrifying automobile accident, and Wes' (Steve Bacic) another twin, Annette. There are so many unanswered questions and cliffhangers for the 4th season.

Virgin River 4 Cast
To the surprise of the audience, most of the Virgin River favourites will appear in the following season. The cast of the series includes Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Annette O'Toole, Tim Matheson, and others.
Unfortunately, season 3 included the death of Lilly (Lynda Boyd), which means we may only see the character and actor in the upcoming season's flashback scenes if there will be any at all.
Virgin River 4 Story
Ricky (Grayson Gurnsey) and Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) seem to have broken up after season three, with Lizzie speaking of her feelings for him in the past tense and Ricky getting ready to leave Virgin River to follow his dream of joining the marines. Public pictures of them at the fair show them having a good time, even though Lizzie is in a boat and another person is in the ">trailer. Ricky and Lizzie look at one other across the bar in the trailer. Perhaps they meet up again at the fairground.
It seems that Jack (Martin Henderson) and Mel will experience multiple challenges once more. Jack, who recently learned that Mel was pregnant, claims he doesn't want to know the father because he worries that the child's late father, Mark, won't treat the child with the same devotion. Finally, as if to cap it all off, Jack's father shows up in town, causing him to question his parenting abilities and turn to drink once more. Mel finds out that Mark's family is working with the legal system to gain possession of their two remaining embryos (one of which Mel used to try and become pregnant at the end of the third season).
