Bollywood actor Adah Sharma has come to global attention on social media. No, not for a film release but for a video of hers from a trip to England that has gone massively viral online. Sharma, in the video, is seen singing a song and breaking a leg beside a member of the Queen's Guard at Windsor Castle in Berkshire. He stands stoic for a while before marching off, leaving Sharma standing alone.
The song she was grooving to was Shake It Like Shammi from her 2014 film Hasee Toh Phasee.
Sharma's antics, first posted to her Instagram account as per reports and picked up this week in the media, have not gone down well with netizens. Many have criticised her for exhibiting 'cringe' tourist behaviour, while some others are accusing her of disrespecting the royal employee.
The Queen's Guard or British Guards, best recognisable by their red and black uniform, are soldiers charged with duties to guard the royal residences in England.

The video featuring Sharma is an old one but has resurfaced across media platforms, including Twitter and YouTube, and users are not holding back on their reactions to the incident.
"god i feel his pain," one user tweeted. "I can fully understand his reaction. Wtf … more respect please. All this shit just for one video. Not funny for someone who just does his job," another wrote. "To be clear, this is similar to doing a TikTok dance in front of a secret service member at the Whitehouse," one wrote.
"He walked away from the cringe. RESPECT," a YouTube comment read. "Queen's guards are more than ceremonial, they're serving and enlisted men and women," another said.
