'Still Adjusting' Vijay Varma On Sudden Attention On Relationship

Tamannaah and Vijay Varma were spotted enjoying a movie outing in Mumbai the previous night. The duo was photographed at a Mumbai theatre on Friday evening. 

Speculation about their romantic involvement started circulating last year when they were seen together at Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Mumbai in December, where they also shared images from the event. Confirming the dating rumours, the actor revealed her relationship with Vijay Varma, her co-star from Lust Stories 2, in an interview earlier this year.

Vijay Varma On Sudden Attention On His Relationship

In a recent interview with Indian Express, Varma expressed his perspective regarding the shift in fan interest towards his personal life and how he's gradually adapting to this change. He initially acknowledges that the realisation of being considered among the most sought-after couples is both “humbling and nice”. Nonetheless, this newfound attention took him by surprise, as he was accustomed to having a more private existence. The experience of going out together with Tamannaah brings about significant attention, a phenomenon he hadn't fully anticipated.

When asked if he was prepared for this level of attention and if he's comfortable with it, Varma responded that he doesn't particularly find it comfortable, but he's working on acclimatising himself to this new aspect of his public life. He said, “I am not particularly comfortable but I am just trying to get used to it”

Tamannaah On Her Relationship

Earlier, during an interview with Film Companion, Tamannaah admitted that she is in a romantic relationship with her co-star Vijay Varma from Lust Stories 2. She expressed her perspective, stating that being drawn to someone isn't solely influenced by their professional connection as co-stars. She emphasised that her personal feelings and connections transcended the realm of their shared profession. According to her, the decision to develop feelings for someone is rooted in a deeper, more personal dynamic, and their line of work is not the determining factor in such matters.

The speculations around the couple started at the beginning of 2023 and resulted in paparazzi following them during their outings or fans reading carefully into their cryptic posts on social media. They eventually confirmed their relationship during the promotion of their anthology film, Lust Stories 2, making them one of the most sought-after couples in the film industry.

In terms of their professional pursuits, Tamannaah recently appeared in the movie Jailer alongside Rajinikanth. She also took on roles in Amazon Prime Video's Jee Karda and the Netflix anthology film Lust Stories 2 this year. On the work front, Vijay Varma's upcoming project includes Sujoy Ghosh's The Devotion of Suspect X, featuring Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat. Notably, he played a significant role in the successful series Dahaad this year.
