Reflecting upon all the important milestones in her life, Balan spoke her heart out and expressed how she held a different viewpoint towards marriage before actually getting married.
Expressing how life is treating her in her 40s, she touched upon things that affected her from the start of her career up until now, how her husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur, has remained a constant all these years.
Balan revealed that she was not someone who wanted to tie the knot, and it was after she met Siddharth Roy Kapur that wanted to have this experience too.
What grabbed the Internet’s attention was when she spoke of her connection with Kapur and revealed about the times she had first met him. Balan said that she met Kapur when she least expected it to happen. She said, “When I stopped looking, I found Siddharth. Actually I have never wanted to be married, I have to be honest with you, I never saw myself as someone who could get married”. The Kahaani actor also revealed that after the age of thirty, she felt lonely and wanted to share her dreams and success with someone and craved the connection and that’s when she met Siddharth Roy Kapur. Calling him the "most real person", she said although it was lust at first sight that attracted her to him, she fell in love sooner than expected and found her happy ever after.
