Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif's wedding note to guests arriving for their event in Rajasthan has allegedly been leaked on social media. Despite the couple's reported no phone policy at the big bash, a welcome message purportedly from the organisers has made its way out. The high-profile wedding is shrouded in secrecy, with the actor duo imposing tight norms on the celebrations and refraining from giving a media confirmation about their union.
The note in question, as posted by ANI, reads, "You are finally here! We hope you enjoy the road trip from Jaipur to Ranthambore. Please enjoy the refreshments that we have put together, while you journey through scenic villages and roads. Sit back, relax and brace yourselves for the fun-filled, exciting adventure."
The letter, credited to a 'Shaadi Squad,' further mentions that guests should leave their mobile phones behind in their rooms and avoid using social media during any of the ceremonies.
Buzz around this upcoming Bollywood wedding is high. The event is planned over four days at the plush Six Senses Fort Barwara, with Kaushal and Kaif reportedly tying the knot on December 9 in a royal-themed ceremony. Around 120 guests are confirmed for the wedding and will reportedly have to adhere to strict policies, such as taking on name "codes" and signing non-disclosure agreements.
While solid confirmation is awaited from both parties concerned, the actors' friends and families have begun flying down to the destination. Follow updates here.
Previously, a letter purportedly from the district collector in Sawai Madhopur where the wedding is scheduled to take place had gone viral in a seeming confirmation of the Kaushal-Kaif wedding. The letter took note of crowd controlling and other security measures, as per reports.
Meanwhile, amid D-day celebrations, legal trouble has brewed for the star couple with a Rajasthan-based advocate filing a complaint with local authorities about a temple route being blocked ahead of their wedding ceremonies. The Chauth Mata temple, a prominent Hindu shrine that sees daily footfall, is situated on the way to the resort where Kaif and Kaushal are to get married. Read here.
