Tej and Tripathi are good friends and have worked together in films like Antriksham and Mister. Their romance allegedly bloomed on the sets of their film and since then, they have shared a great bond. As per reports, Tripathi is a great friend of Tej's sister as well and was a part of her three-day-long wedding celebration in Udaipur.

Tripathi's father reportedly once stated that the actor will be getting married in 2023. Soon after that, the actor was seen choosing Varun Tej as the most handsome actor while on a TV show which the fans called a hint towards their relationship. Meanwhile, Tej's family has also announced that he too will be getting married soon this year and people will soon get to know who her partner is.

Now the rumours of the Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi's engagement are going around in Tollywood. As per the rumours, they will have a grand engagement on June 2023 that will be attended by close friends and family.
